Lending Representative II

As a SmartBiz Lending Representative, you’ll work closely with customers to collect important underwriting documentation while answering questions and guiding applicants throughout the application process. A primary focus of your role will be to drive revenue and improve the quality of new business for our company by consistently meeting quarterly revenue goals. This is a perfect role for a self-starting, goal oriented individual who is looking to grow their sales career in a fun and fast paced atmosphere.


  • Educate potential borrowers on the various benefits of obtaining funding through SmartBiz
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of SmartBiz products and sales processes
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to manage pipelines and package loans
  • Partner with marketing, business development, and product to ensure a seamless sales and customer experience
  • Triage new issues, projects and processes as they arise and as the SmartBiz marketplace and application evolves

Desired Experience:

  • Customer/Sales experience with an ability to develop a rapport quickly on the phone
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well, independently and within a team
  • Great organizational skills and experience creating your own processes to manage your tasks
  • Ability to explain financial terms in clear language while maintaining professionalism and organization
  • A strong desire to innovate, collaborate and have fun!
